We are seeking an experienced AV Engineer to play a pivotal role in enhancing our technical readiness and customer engagement at Bang & Olufsen Flagship Store. If you’re passionate about technology and have excellent communication skills, we invite you to embark on this exciting journey with us.
Job Purpose: Providing technical solutions and pre-sale services to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales.
Key functions:
1. Provide product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of Bang & Olufsen products.
2. Conduct customer journey in the flagship during peak times or when sales staff are busy.
3. Deliver personalized top-class customer service by ensuring all equipment is fully operational.
4. Provide hands-on support to educate and assist end users in connecting and operating their devices.
5. Stay up-to-date on the latest product developments and industry trends to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
6. Consult in depth on all technical aspects of products and problem-solving.
7. Coordinate local testing activities to validate the performance and effectiveness of B&O solutions.
8. Ensure all solutions displayed in the B&O Milan Flagship and La Rinascente are working as intended and fix any technical issues that arise.
9. Act as the voice of the customer, gathering insights and feedback to help shape B&O solutions and services.
10. Participate in customer meetings and site visits to assess technical needs and provide solutions.
11. Provide excellent support to customers facing technical issues and coordinate product repairs if needed.
Qualifications and skills:
* Proven experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Service Specialist, or in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of audio-video technology and home automation systems.
* Skills to provide top-class customer service.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and coherently.
* Ability to conduct presentations and facilitate customer journeys in the flagship store.
* Analytical mindset: proficiency in analyzing complex data, making informed decisions, and implementing process improvements.
* Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Language proficiency in English and Italian for effective communication with our global team and customers.
