Responsibilities
Ensuring the smooth and on‐time processing of import & export shipmentsOptimizing and securing the documentation of procedures and processesSupporting and advising customersCarrying out customs clearanceHandling correspondence with customers, agents, and service providersPreparation of quotation and follow‐up of the quotation processConducting sales negotiationsSecuring and processing invoices to customersMonitoring of meetings and deadlinesInvoicingExecute all Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (as applicable). Preparation of Letters of Credit compliant, Bill of Lading, delivery bills, customs documents, etc.

Qualifications
Diploma (High school) in business, international commerce, or foreign languages1–3 years of working experience in international forwardingUniversity degree (nice to have)Strong PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office applications) preferredExperience in the use of freight‐forwarding softwareFluent oral and written English is a mustAdditional (major) European languages would be an assetExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization, strong cultural sensitivity, and ability to build relationshipsStrong team player with the ability to work independentlyPro‐active, target‐driven, solutions‐oriented and good attention to detailFlexible and positive attitude to excel in a client‐driven environment, commercial awarenessOpen to new ideas and technologiesExcellent time management and organizational skillsContinuous improvement culture and attitude
