HOTEL OPERATIONS MANAGER
The AC Hotel Milan Sesto by Marriott is looking for a Hotel Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of all hotel departments: Sales and Marketing, F&B, FO, Revenue and Reservation, HR, Administration
* Ensure all operational departments adhere to hotel policies and procedures
* Implement strategies to increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve overall profitability
* Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless coordination and problem-solving in operations
* Guide and develop the leaders in individual departments
* Ensure compliance with local laws, health and safety regulations, and brand standards
* Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction
* Ensure all guest-facing departments deliver excellent service and handle special requests efficiently
* Work closely with the HR department to recruit, train, and develop staff across all operational areas
* Assist the General Manager in budget preparation and ensure cost-effective operational strategies
* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team morale and productivity
* Monitor departmental budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial goals are met
* Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services
* Ensure that all departments comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards
* Oversee the implementation of security protocols to ensure guest and employee safety
* Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure all equipment and facilities are functioning properly and meet safety standards
* Assist in planning and executing special events, conferences, and meetings to ensure smooth operations
* Report regularly to the General Manager on operational performance, challenges, and areas for improvement
* Maintain clear and effective communication between departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
* Monitor and managing guest feedback to maximize guest experience
Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
* Proven experience managing multiple departments in a hotel setting
* Strong knowledge of hospitality industry
* Proficiency in hotel management software Opera
* Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
