As we expand, we're looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our growing development team — someone who’s eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a supportive tech environment.
️ What You’ll Do
As a Junior Software Developer at Calton, you will:
* Collaborate with a cross-functional team to build and maintain scalable web applications
* Write clean, testable code in Python (backend) and React.js (frontend)
* Use MongoDB to manage and query data effectively
* Work with AWS services to deploy and maintain applications
* Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and design discussions
* Learn continuously with support from senior developers and mentors
What We’re Looking For
We don’t expect you to know it all — but we’re looking for someone who brings curiosity, energy, and a solid foundation:
* Familiarity with Python and JavaScript (React.js)
* Basic understanding of databases, especially MongoDB
* Some exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
* Willingness to learn, ask questions, and contribute ideas
* Good communication and collaboration skills
* Basic English (reading technical docs); fluency in Italian is a plus
Recent graduates or self-taught developers are welcome! If you’ve built personal projects or completed a bootcamp, show us what you’ve done.
