PpMED-LOGIX designs, manufactures, and sells precision hyperthermia systems for radiation oncology. Our ALBA devices heat tumors to enhance the effectiveness of radiotherapy and chemotherapy — a technique backed by decades of clinical evidence that improves outcomes while minimizing toxicity to healthy tissue. /p pOur systems are installed in top cancer hospitals and research centers across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. We develop everything in-house: hardware, firmware, desktop applications, simulation engines, and web-based tools. We collaborate actively with institutions top like Amsterdam UMC, La Sapienza, Insespital Bern, University of Zurich, and Tor Vergata. /p pBased in Rome's Tecnopolo Tiburtino — a hub for precision engineering, electronics, and space telecommunications. /p h3The role /h3 pWe're growing our engineering team and looking for a software developer (mid or senior) to join us in Rome. You'll work on CE-marked medical devices regulated under the EU MDR — software that spans from hardware control and electromagnetic simulation to clinical-facing applications, cloud infrastructure, and internal tooling. /p pWe're at a point where we're scaling our architecture, modernizing our stack, and building new products. This is a chance to shape what comes next, not just maintain what exists. /p h3What you'll do /h3 ul liBuild and maintain software across the stack: C++, Python, Qt, SQL/NoSQL /li liWork on systems that interface directly with medical hardware /li liDevelop and improve internal tools, automation, and infrastructure /li liDebug complex problems across embedded, desktop, and server environments /li liWrite clean, testable, well-documented code in a regulated context (EU MDR) /li liContribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment workflows /li liHelp modernize legacy codebases and define the architecture going forward /li /ul h3Our stack /h3 ul libCore: /b C++, Python, Qt /li libData: /b SQL, NoSQL, signal processing pipelines /li libWeb: /b Modern web technologies (actively expanding) /li /ul h3What we're looking for /h3 ul liDegree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience) /li liStrong C++ and/or Python /li liComfortable with Linux and/or Windows environments /li liGit /liliYou care about code quality, not just shipping /li liYou can debug a problem across multiple layers without someone holding your hand /li liClear communicator on technical decisions /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liExperience with Qt /li liDocker and containerization /li liBackground in physics, numerical simulation, or signal processing /li liExperience in regulated environments (medical devices, aerospace, automotive) /li liWeb development (frontend or backend) /li li3D visualization or computational geometry /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 ul liYour code ends up in cancer treatment rooms worldwide — not dashboards nobody looks at /li liHardware + software + science in one role: this isn't a typical backend job /li liJoin at a growth moment: we're expanding the team, the stack, and the product line /li liSmall, technical team where your input matters from day one /li liInternational collaborations with leading research institutions /li liReal opportunity to co-author scientific publications and present at conferences (ESHO, ESTRO) /li liInvolvement in EU-funded research projects /li liTechnical growth in a field where your work directly impacts patient outcomes /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
