We're looking for a Commissioning Manager Automation to join our office in Tarcento (UD) or Genoa (GE).
Responsible for planning and executing the commissioning of complete plant / plant sections, e.g. with regard to electrics and automation.
Support to the General Commissioning Manager in planning and executing commissioning from interlinked operation tests through to acceptance.
Responsibility for the commissioning of complete plant or sections (depending on the size and complexity of the project).
Serving as a contact for the customer with regard to electrical and automation systems on-site.
Performs E&A after completion of the integration test.
Performing acceptance of the electrical and automation systems including contractual documentation within the scope of the integration test.
Coordinating the customer's instruction in use of the maintenance and operating manuals on-site.
Understanding of the various stages of steelmaking, such as steelmaking, rolling, continuous casting, etc., Systems Engineering: Knowledge of Safety Regulations: Familiarity with current regulations regarding workplace safety and steelmaking plant management.
Project Planning and Management: Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate commissioning activities, monitoring project progress and adhering to budgets.
Team Management: Ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians and engineers, providing technical support and coordinating commissioning activities.
Risk Management: Ability to identify and manage commissioning-related risks, adopting preventative and corrective measures.
Ability to communicate effectively with various project stakeholders, providing progress updates and resolving issues.
Ability to prepare detailed reports on commissioning activities, providing a complete traceability of the process.
Claim management skills.
Proven expertise in PLC automation system programming (S7-TIA, S7-400); Proficiency in MS Office.
Willingness to travel worldwide for software installation and commissioning.
Involvement in planning, execution and confirmation by the customer of the guarantees and performance tests (FATs).
Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, Automation Engineering, or equivalent.
Excellent English.
