The Process Quality Observer is responsible to attend in field daily process operations in manufacturing process of modules erection in Avenza. She/he is partnering with Operational Leaders, assure smooth operations in compliance to all applicable procedures by continuous auditing of the shopfloor and of execution, in compliance with all applicable procedures and to ISO and TR&S standards. You will measure and report production performance, drive continuous improvement of operational processes, with lean methods, aimed to flawless execution, eliminating “waste” tied to the metrics of Escaping defects and Observations/PL. You shall act as the key reference for Operations Leaders about Quality, supporting the operations to meet quality goals in terms of Cost of Quality, defects count, Root Cause Analysis investigations and Quality Management System compliance.
Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities
* Support the cells and Quality team in daily auditing operations in Avenza carried out by shop operators, to help in keeping the shopfloor tidy and clean and committed to ISO standards
* Partner with Operational Leaders to assure operations are smooth and in compliance to all applicable procedures
* Record findings in BH systems
* Publish/monitor quality metrics for observations/punch list found during the execution phases
* Drive cross-functional improvement projects of operational processes, with lean methods, aimed to flawless execution, eliminating “waste” tied to the metrics of Escaping defects and Observations/PL
* Support operations to properly execute products special processes and monitor the qualification and control of the inspection providers basket
* Full implementation and operating rhythm of “Toolbox” with operation leaders and contractor’s operators
* Support NCA/RCA on observations/PL/escaping defects
* Leads reviews with Operations Leaders and Contractors to monitor Quality programs execution and Quality indicators performance, such as weekly Defects reviews and quarterly reviews
* Be responsible for Quality Assurance for the operations, ensuring that all functions are committed and in compliance to ISO standards
* Define her/his own competencies development plant to enhance specific skills for the assigned discipline
Required Qualifications
* STEM master’s or bachelor’s degree
* Enhanced experience in Manufacturing, QMS/QA/QC or Operational roles in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction energy markets
* Fluent in English
* Technical know-how on energy subjects
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Technical know-how on energy markets
