With that in mind, we encourage all qualified applicants to apply. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure the temple reflects the beauty, cleanliness, and sacred nature of the temple experience. /li liMaintain standards established by the First Presidency. /li liTrain, motivate, and supervise a crew of full and/or part-time custodians or volunteers. /li liAssist in custodial work to assure that church buildings are clean and orderly at all times. /li liTypically responsible for up to 40,000 square feet. /li liTypically supervises a crew of up to 8 employees. /li /ul h3Responsibilities (Continued) /h3 ul liSupervise a crew of custodians by interviewing prospects, providing training, creating schedules, assisting in performance management and assigning individual tasks. /li liMake decisions, under the direction of the manager, on proper equipment, techniques, chemicals and maintenance of church buildings. /li liMaintain discipline, performance and morale among custodians. /li liMonitor physical condition of all areas and report maintenance and repair needs to manager. /li liInitiate orders for custodial supplies and stay within budget. /li liPerform custodial work including but not limited to: vacuuming, dusting, mopping; cleaning kitchen/cafeteria, restrooms, carpets and upholstery; and washing windows. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liTwo to four years of custodial, maintenance, or related experience. /li liExperience working in a temple is preferred. /li liOne to two years of supervisory experience. /li liThorough knowledge of important aspects of custodial maintenance, including custodial supplies and cleaning chemicals. /li liFamiliarity with applicable health and safety regulations. /li liDegree or certification in custodial maintenance or related field preferred. /li liMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs/23 kgs. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
