Role and Responsibilities
* Optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours, improving quality, efficiency, costs, and safety.
* Ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components support production targets.
* Define the working phase sequence of new production processes to achieve targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.
* Identify and recommend improvement opportunities; implement improvement projects with adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.
* Approve the design of processes developed internally or externally and perform final tests with respect to the project.
* Provide support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start‑up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.
* Evaluate new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost; lead testing activities, set approval criteria, and choose external providers.
Qualifications For The Role
* Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and production process optimization.
* Skilled in using ERP systems and production planning tools, and hands‑on problem‑solving.
* Collaborative team player adaptable to change and comfortable working in cross‑functional environments.
* Proficient in both English and Italian to engage internal and external stakeholders.
