Partner with the best Plant-SQE is responsible for collecting, assessing, and prioritizing Quality/HSE/Technical claims from Manufacturing/Logistics operations related to Supplier’s delivered products, driving Commodities SQEs for prompt and effective risk mitigations, investigations, and corrective actions. The main goal is to expedite and support continuous improvement of the Supplier’s Base Quality level, reducing both escaping defects and associated Cost of Quality while assuring business continuity for the Plant needs. As Sr Supplier Quality Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for: Acting as the unique entry point SQE for the BH plant needs Attending plant production/quality meetings Carrying out periodical reviews of Supplier’s critical to Quality NCs Engaging Commodities SQEs early in Product Quality Improvement requested by the Plant Driving cross-functional initiatives for manufacturability improvement/cost savings of supplied products Ensuring collaboration between functions and locations to comply with engineering and customer specifications Facilitating disposition for Suppliers Deviation Request (SDR) critical to business continuity Facilitating Return to Vendors of defective items for repair/replacement Supporting Quality Strategy deployment Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent Have significant experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or Quality Have proven leadership capabilities Have proven experience in acting and driving corrective actions Have the ability to read and understand technical drawings and product specifications Possess technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas: welding, heat treatment, destructive & non-destructive testing, machining Have knowledge of ISO 9001/9100 requirements Be fluent in English Have excellent communication and presentation skills Be able to travel (up to 30%) domestically and internationally Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
