We design and manufacture innovative microinverters, hybrid inverters, and energy storage systems for international markets, with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and clean energy solutions.As part of our continued growth in Southern Europe, we are expanding our presence in Italy and are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to reinforce our local service and technical operations.Key ResponsibilitiesAfter-Sales SupportDeliver high-quality technical support to customers, partners, and installers.Provide training sessions to professionals and internal teams on Hoymiles products and best practices.Manage the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process efficiently and ensure timely resolution.Identify and implement service improvements to optimize response times, spare part usage, and service costs.Regularly compile and report service performance data to the headquarters.Pre-Sales SupportSupport the sales team with technical expertise during customer visits, project planning, and offer preparation.Develop and present technical documentation, proposals, and product presentations.Coordinate with HQ to ensure compliance with local technical and regulatory requirements.Monitor market trends and share insights with product, marketing, and business development teams.Participate in competitive benchmarking and contribute to product positioning strategies.Represent the company at trade shows, technical training events, and industry seminars.Provide on-site technical guidance during installation and commissioning phases when necessary.Candidate ProfileBased in Italy, with flexibility to travel both nationally and internationally.Holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field; a specialization in renewable energy or energy storage is a strong plus.Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support, engineering, or field service, ideally in the solar or energy industry.Autonomous, analytical, and customer-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.Comfortable working in an international and cross-functional environment.Ability to communicate fluently in the local language (spoken and written), along with strong English skills, is essential to support customers and work with international teams.What We OfferA role within a fast-growing global company committed to accelerating the energy transition.Opportunities to work on impactful projects across the solar and energy storage sector.A dynamic, multicultural team and a clear path for professional development.
