THE POSITIONThe candidate will join the pharmaceutical industry in a very dynamic and challenging environment as a Demand Specialist. With this role, the candidate will be reporting to the Demand Manager within Supply Chain Management of Boehringer Ingelheim in Milan.Responsibilities:
Planning of finished product orders based on the sales forecastSupport to the Sales and Operation Process GovernanceInventory management (stock level control, DOI, avoiding stock-out and surplus)Accountability for Material Master Data Management for finished productsKey contact person to Local and Global functions/teamsCoordinate and support customs clearance process management for goods coming from extra-EU CountriesProvide with weekly and monthly local/global reports (ie: stock coverage, out of stock tracking, Forecast Accuracy, Supply impact report, Back order, etc)Local GRP and BIX@ coordinator, Logistic incident Management, Starter and Requester for planning SKUMonitor goods receipt at local 3PL warehouse and inbound process
Requirements:
Strong interest in planning and logisticsGood knowledge of MS Office and possibly SAP ERP, GRP, BIX@Preferred Degree in Engineering or EconomicsFluent English written and oral communication skillsGood analytical skills, working with large data setsGood communication, organizational and Team working skillsAbility to thrive under pressureFlexible and adaptive to changing priorities
