Ph3EHS Manager – Casaletto Vaprio EHS Coordinator Field Safety for Italy /h3 pJoin to apply for the bEHS Manager – Casaletto Vaprio EHS Coordinator Field Safety for Italy /b role at bPPG /b. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead EHS compliance for the Casaletto Vaprio site and coordinate field safety activities across Italy, ensuring alignment with local legislation and PPG standards. /li liImplement and continuously improve the EHS Management System, develop local plans, and provide proactive feedback to the Country Manager. /li liParticipate in the local Leadership Team, support decision‑making, and maintain core EHS resources. /li liCollaborate with Process Safety Managers to meet process safety requirements; prioritize needs, secure budget approval, and manage the local EHS budget. /li liDrive field‑safety culture (Drive to Zero), ensure timely incident reporting, supervise corrective actions, and promote near‑miss reporting. /li liEngage with business leaders, provide regulatory interpretation, develop training programs, and represent business interests to regulatory bodies and customers. /li liSupport integration of acquired businesses and promote corporate initiatives such as Wellness and Ergo Cup. /li /ul h3Impact / Scope of Responsibility /h3 ul liManage EHS compliance for one or multiple sites, maintaining programs, policies, and procedures. /li liConduct independent reviews of environmental, health, and safety policies; recommend changes and assess applicability to other sites. /li liAct as a technical expert and provide functional direction, training, and guidance to staff across the organization. /li liCoordinate audits, quality controls, and risk assessments, influencing employees and leadership. /li /ul h3Complexity Innovation /h3 ul liOperate independently at sites of low to moderate complexity and risk. /li liAnalyze complex issues, develop solutions for moderate‑scope challenges, and implement improvements to processes and equipment. /li liInvestigate accidents, prepare regulatory reports, and recommend corrective actions. /li /ul h3Communication Autonomy /h3 ul liRegularly engage and collaborate with site employees and leadership. /li liDevelop and conduct training, emergency preparedness, and quality‑assurance programs. /li liMaintain independence in planning, scheduling, and organizing activities. /li /ul h3Education Technical Knowledge /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in EHS, chemistry, engineering, or related field; alternatively, relevant EHS qualification with 5+ years of experience. /li liIn‑depth knowledge of occupational health and safety and/or environmental regulations, and continuous learning of regulatory changes. /li liWorking knowledge of key business metrics, drivers, and manufacturing processes to influence customers. /li /ul h3Behaviours Expected /h3 ul liMeet scope and deadlines, promptly inform stakeholders of deviations. /li liParticipate in monthly regional reviews, complete monthly updates and reports. /li liConduct at least one safety observation per week with site leadership. /li liUpdate and upload local EHS scorecards monthly; report incidents and corrective actions within required timeframes. /li liComplete goals and performance reviews in Workday on schedule. /li liSubmit expense claims in Concur on time. /li /ul h3Compensation Benefits /h3 pPPG pay ranges and benefits vary by location, designed to compensate competitively.
