Join us in shaping the future of space operations and take your ambition to new heights. /p pThe Head of Product Quality Assurance is part of the Operational Excellence group which provide specific expertise to the Company and leads the quality of the Institutional and Defense Business Unit (ID). This role leads the development, implementation, standardization and maintenance of product and quality assurance disciplines across the company and within ID, driving strategy, competence growth, and continuous improvement throughout the full product lifecycle. He/She will report to the VP Operations and the Head of the ID Business Unit. /p pThe Head of Product Quality Assurance will be responsible for the development, implementation, standardization and maintenance of product and quality assurance disciplines across the company and the ID Business Unit, including strategic and future projects. You will carry out training activities about standards, methodologies and tools to guarantee the required competences at Company and Business Units levels. /p h3Tasks And Responsibilities /h3 ul liAct as line manager of the product and quality assurance team, including ID product assurance management team. /li liCoordinate the team across assigned Business Units, including the ID Product Assurance Managers. /li liResponsible for recruitment. /li liResponsible of competence management, including competence tracking and planning, training of people vs competences. /li liResponsible of goals definitions, career growth, yearly appraisal and rewarding process according to company processes and tools. /li liResponsible for product and quality assurance KPI definition, monitoring and reporting. /li liResponsible for budget definition, control and reporting related to product and quality assurance team and related activities. /li liDrive the establishment and the implementation of standards and best practices in the product and quality assurance field according to company and ID objectives. /li liDefine, perform and maintain training activities to disseminate product and quality assurance knowledge. /li liResponsible for the NCR/findings matrix to optimize issues resolution and non-quality costs across Business Units. /li liWork in synergy with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, PMO and Sales functions. /li liDrive continuous improvement activities on product and quality assurance field according to collected feedback and data. /li liDrive the identification, evaluation and mitigation of quality-related risks. /li liCoordinate the monitoring and reporting activities about subcontractor and supplier quality to ensure compliance with applicable requirements. /li liSupport the implementation of the configuration management system. /li /ul pAdditional duties may be assigned as needed. /p h3Experience Required /h3 ul liExperience in leading product and quality assurance topics within Space projects. /li liExperience in leading team of highly specialized professionals in the domain covered by the position. /li liExperience working within a quality assurance environment. /li liExperience with Space Quality Standards (and Space Standards in general), their implementation and of the space industry in general. /li liExperience with EN9100 standard. /li liExperience working with requirements management tool. /li /ul h3The Head Of PQA Has The Following Skills /h3 ul liManaging capabilities. /li liAbility to drive team growth. /li liAbility to set strategic plans and drive related execution. /li liAbility to communicate clearly and effectively. /liliCapability of working in autonomy as well as in team. /li liAbility to work in a fast-paced environment. /li liProven diplomatic ability. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /li liProactive attitude. /li liMentoring capabilities. /li liKnowledge of any topics within configuration management, quality auditing or certification is considered a plus. /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor or higher engineering degree, in any relevant area such as electronic, aerospace or mechanical/materials engineering. /p h3Language /h3 pFull professional proficiency in the English language. /p h3Hiring Process /h3 pHere's how our hiring process works simple and straightforward: /p ul liApplication review: We go through all applications, but we'll only reach out to candidates who closely match what we're looking for.
