Duties and Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility is to enhance the software engineering team through active contribution, mentorship, and knowledge sharing. You will serve as a role model, enforcing best coding practices and advocating for continuous improvement. Your codebase will improve each sprint, and you will develop tools and templates that make developers' work easier. Over the next few years, you will scale our platform to handle over 10 times the current load while maintaining high uptime.
Qualifications
- Over 10 years of experience in the full software development lifecycle, with a curiosity and flexibility to learn new technologies.
- At least 3 years as a staff engineer or higher.
- More than 10 years mastering SDLC, SOLID principles, TDD/BDD, and a passion for clean code and architecture.
- 5+ years working with modern technologies such as GoLang, GraphQL, gRPC, microservices, and NoSQL (familiarity preferred, not mandatory).
- Proven experience (10+ years) with cloud development patterns and best practices, including multiple years in tech leadership roles.
- At least 7 years of experience with cloud-based architecture and automated release pipelines.
- 7+ years focused on API-first, loosely coupled, domain-driven systems.
- Strong skills in managing technical debt and improving code, processes, and teams.
- Pride in delivering quality code with diverse testing approaches.
