Facility & Maintenance Manager - Italy, Paterno' - Permanent Contract
Are you local toPaterno' and looking for your next contract assignment? Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organisation, are recruiting for aFacility & Maintenance Manager to join their newly assembled team and help contribute towards the development of their next core projects.
What you'll do
* Lead themaintenance strategyacross production equipment, cleanrooms, HVAC systems, and site infrastructure
* Develop and implementpreventive and predictive maintenance plans, aligned with GMP and EHS standards
* Own and optimise ourCMMS system, ensuring accurate asset tracking, work order management, and performance reporting
* Managecritical utilities(WFI, HVAC, compressed air, purified water, etc.) to ensure up time and regulatory compliance
* Collaborate cross-functionally withProduction, Quality, and Validationteams to minimise downtime and optimise throughput
* Overseecontractor management, ensuring safe and compliant execution of third-party work
* Leadroot cause analysisand corrective actions for equipment failures and facility deviations
What you'll need
* Degree inMechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering(or equivalent experience)
* Requires extensive experiencein a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment, ideally withinAPI or pharmaceutical production
* Strong working knowledge ofCMMS platforms, technical documentation, and regulatory standards
* Proven leadership in managingmulti-disciplinary teams and external contractors
* Deep understanding ofEHS, GMP, and validation protocols
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Fluency in both Italian and Englishis essential for effective communication across local and global teams
