Purpose And Main Priorities Of The Role
As a Quality Engineer, you will report to the Quality Manager and you will be responsible for ensuring highest quality level of roll and graphics products with focus on PVC casting processes. In a very dynamic and challenging context, you will have the role to keep strong focus on quality and to drive cross‑functional team inside the problem resolution management and a new preventive quality culture.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
You will monitor the customer and internal claim to define the priority actions to be carried out on product and process
You will manage the problem resolution activities among different stakeholders, driving the team toward the corrective action definition and implementation
You will cooperate with Quality Manager for creation of a continuous improvement strategy and a quality approach oriented to prevention
You will strongly supervise the production processes with the aim of reducing internal scraps and improving quality level to customer
You will promote frequent alignments with Production to assure that quality mindset is properly in place and that operators experience on quality issues is not ignored
Who We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering
Strong analytical skills and problem‑solving capabilities
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to drive performance in a dynamic and challenging environment
High level of proactivity, energy, and a strong sense of responsibility
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels
Ability to manage stress and handle high workloads with resilience
Advanced proficiency in IT tools (e.g., Excel)
Result‑oriented mindset, pragmatism, and a customer‑centric approach
Italian (good knowledge), English (excellent)
