Within the newly set up Climate Hub, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team, who will work within the Climate Performance Steering and Business Support team.
Key Responsibilities of the role will include:
* Perform PMO activities to deliver strategic priority implementation and support requests. Translate outputs from the Climate Hub's functional units into actionable deliverables for BUs, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
* Develop a comprehensive Nat Cat risk understanding methodology (e.g., business requirements) to ensure a holistic view of Nat Cat risks across the entire value chain.
* Design, develop, and manage a Nat Cat Blueprint (technical guidelines) across the value chain, to determine how to apply and implement the Group Nat Cat risk understanding methodology at each segment of the value chain.
* Engage regularly with BU's contact points (e.g., local CINSO) to understand specific climate adaptation challenges and needs across the value chain.
* Ensure relevant stakeholders are effectively engaged, including Nat Cat experts from the Climate Hub's functional units and local unit experts. Define governance, processes, and rules for engagement to ensure accountability and follow-through.
* Define and prioritize initiatives to accelerate local Nat Cat capabilities, in coordination with BU's contact points.
* Define and manage the implementation roadmap for strategic priorities, including stakeholders, timelines, and key milestones.
* Prepare regular summary reports detailing BU needs for review by the Head of Climate Hub and functional unit leaders. Use this input to identify common needs and develop scalable, structured solutions.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in underwriting, pricing, or strategy within an insurance company or consultancy.
* Knowledge of insurance products, pricing, and loss prevention.
* Project management skills, including planning, execution, and progress tracking.
* Ability to analyze and interpret quantitative data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
* Stakeholder management skills to build and maintain relationships in a multi-layer environment.
* Ability to navigate conflicting priorities and facilitate conflict resolution across units, driving consensus.
