PWe are looking for a Lead Core Edge Network Architect to design and deliver end-to-end Core Edge networking solutions for a large-scale international sports event. /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities: /b /ppbr/ppEnd‑to‑End Solution Design: /pulliLead the architecture and detailed design of Core Edge networking solutions tailored to the unique requirements of international sports event, including venues design and deployment, broadcast networks, and operational zones. /li /ulpbr/ppImplementation Leadership: /pulliOversee and actively support deployment activities—from hardware roll‑out and configuration to integration with security and monitoring systems. /li /ulpbr/ppOperational Excellence: /pulliProvide expert guidance and hands‑on support to operations teams to maintain network stability, performance, and security during Games‑time operations. /li /ulpbr/ppStakeholder Engagement: /pulliCoordinate closely with venue managers, engineering teams, service providers, and Games operations leadership to align designs and deployments with event timelines and evolving requirements. /li /ulpbr/ppIssue Resolution: /pulliAct on complex network incidents, ensuring rapid diagnosis and resolution to protect critical event services. /li /ulpbr/ppDocumentation Handover: /pulliProduce and maintain comprehensive documentation, including network diagrams, implementation guides, and operational runbooks to support seamless handover to operations. /li /ulpbr/ppContinuous Improvement: /pulliIdentify opportunities to optimize designs and processes, drawing from lessons learned in previous large‑scale event networks. /li /ulpbr/ppbRequired Qualifications: /b /pulliMinimum 5+ years in enterprise networking consulting or solution delivery, ideally for large‑scale or high‑availability environments (e.g., sports events, broadcast, or public venues). /liliProven experience designing and implementing Core Edge networks, SD‑WAN, LAN/WLAN, and security solutions. /liliStrong knowledge of network monitoring, incident management, and operational support processes. /liliAbility to lead and coordinate multi-vendor and cross‑functional teams in time‑critical projects. /liliExcellent communication skills to interface effectively with technical teams and senior event stakeholders. /li /ulpbr/ppbPreferred Qualifications: /b /pulliPrior experience supporting international events (sports, entertainment, or similar). /liliCertifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE). /liliFamiliarity with Olympic Games technology delivery models and operational constraints. /li /ulpbr/ppbTechnical Competencies: /b /pulliDeep understanding of Core Edge network architecture, WiFi concepts, and security integration. /liliProficiency with network monitoring and management tools. /liliAbility to create and interpret network diagrams, documentation, and operational playbooks. /li /ul
