The location of the contract may be based in Germany (preferred) or Italy, depending on the successful candidate. /p /brpLocations: Frankenthal, DE; Bremervorde, DE; Kutenholz, DE; Theesen, DE; Venturina, IT; Dinklage, DE; Finnentrop, DE; Osnago, IT; Celle, DE; Voghera, IT; Orio Litta, IT; Ettlingen, DE. /p /brh3Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliGet well‑rounded understanding of production processes for beverage packaging products, by working closely with Regional Operations Director and Plant Operations Managers /li /brliCollaborate cross‑functionally with production, maintenance, engineering and quality teams during process improvement and automation projects /li /brliSupport Lean management and digitalization initiatives focused on process optimization, operations efficiency and cost reduction /li /brliAnalyse and calculate business benefits after rollout of improvement projects /li /brliContribute to development of lean production layout to optimize material flow, workspace utilization and workforce efficiency /li /brliIdentify savings opportunities related to production flow, logistics, operational processes /li /brliSupport plant leaders in CI projects, using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies /li /brliSupport innovation engineering initiatives through automation and digital transformation projects – building Python or BI based tools to automate reporting, process analysing and operational data handling /li /brliIntegrate and transfer data from various ERP systems into Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions /li /brliAnalyse industrial KPIs, production performance metrics, and logistics data to support operational decision‑making /li /brliCollaborate with production, logistics, engineering and quality teams to identify process bottlenecks and improvement opportunities /li /br /ul /brh3Qualifications /h3 /brul /brliDegree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or related fields /li /brliInternship or work experience within industrial environment, managing process engineering, CI, production management or related fields – required /li /brliAdvanced MS Office knowledge including Excel expertise and strong Power BI skills /li /brliSome knowledge of programming tools like Python, SQL /li /brliUnderstanding of lean management tools and principles (Kaizen, 55, Six Sigma etc) /li /brliUnderstanding of project management tools, experience in managing projects or project management certificate as an advantage /li /brliFluency in English.
