About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our organization. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative solutions for our products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design bare shaft pumps, create 3D models, and develop components drawings;
* Develop pump bills of material and ensure they meet internal product specifications;
* Perform spreadsheet calculations and basic FEM analysis as required;
* Collaborate with Technical Engineers and R&D to implement design guidance and best practices;
* Participate in Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) on bare shaft pumps to reduce waste and costs;
* Contribute to defining internal product specifications and guidelines;
* Analyze NCRs related to vertical/horizontal bare shaft pumps components and assemblies;
* Provide assistance to other departments for specific product types;
* Help train new employees and improve task efficiency;
* Suggest and develop optimized design tools and processes.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering;
* At least two years of experience in similar roles at EPS or skid manufacturers;
* Good knowledge of English language;
* Basic knowledge of PTC Creo Parametric, PTC Creo Simulate;
* Familiarity with PLM systems, preferably Windchill;
* Aveva E3D knowledge is a plus.
