Role : Application Engineer Location : Catania, Sicily Job type : Full-time Job Description Represent our client to your clients both on-site and on frequent remote calls. Effectively interface with a broad range of client stakeholders including operators, process engineers, industrial engineers, Fab managers, IT, and Executives. Manage the entire project life cycle by developing and maintaining the schedule to meet project goals, defining clear deliverables, determining what expertise is required, and producing estimates of program / project requirements based on changing client needs. Work closely with other members of our client's applications engineering team, including frequent communication with the Program Manager and Commercial Manager for your sites. Work closely with our client's software development team (EMEA, US, Asia), including providing feedback on applications, communicating new feature requests, performing QA for new versions, and managing deployments. Maintain frequent communication with the Program Manager and Key Account Manager for your sites. Develop training material, provide on-site training, and update our client's Help Site as needed. Provide support during unscheduled downtime. Travel may be required on average of 30%, depending on project status. Qualifications 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing Diploma, Master's degree or higher in engineering or computer science Responsibilities commensurate with experience and education Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with industrial engineering concepts Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Effective communication skills and comfort presenting to groups Proficiency in PowerPoint and presentation creation Self-starter with strong self-management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously Excellent Italian and English skills; knowledge of French or German is a plus Additional Information Our client offers a dynamic working environment that promotes diversity, equality, and inclusion.
