For more information, visit /p h3What does a Service Engineer do? /h3 pAs a Service Engineer, you are the technical backbone of our customer support operations. You maintain, install, and upgrade our fleet of packaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You assist customers during the post-sales phase, resolving technical issues and breakdowns, and actively promote our equipment, Smart Services, and Spare Parts to support our financial goals. /p h3Why do we need you? /h3 pbTo keep our equipment running at its best. /b You’ll provide expert maintenance, installation, and upgrades for our fleet and partner equipment, ensuring customers experience minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. /p pbTo understand and respond to customer needs. /b You’ll evaluate customer expectations and plan service activities that meet their goals. Your ability to troubleshoot and recommend solutions will make you a trusted partner. /p pbTo drive spare parts and Smart Services sales. /b You’ll identify opportunities to promote our Smart Services and spare parts, helping us meet financial targets while delivering added value to customers. /p pbTo train and empower our customers. /b You’ll provide hands-on training in basic equipment maintenance, helping customers become more self-sufficient and confident in using our solutions. /p pbTo ensure safety and compliance. /b You’ll follow company, regional, and customer standards and safety rules, maintaining a safe and professional working environment. /p pbTo collaborate and share knowledge. /b You’ll communicate openly with internal teams and share technical insights from the field, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation. /p pbTo lead and support service projects. /b You’ll manage or contribute to service-related projects, analyzing performance data and ensuring timely execution of maintenance and corrective actions. /p pbTo keep our systems updated. /b You’ll record all service activities in our CRM platform, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting. /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liProven experience in field technical service /li liHigh and low voltage certification /li liStrong ability to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams /li liKnowledge of PLC systems (Siemens and Allen Bradley) /li liProficiency in Microsoft Office /li liUnderstanding of kinematics, mechanical/electrical drives, and industrial equipment manufacturing /li liKnowledge of vacuum processes and material thermal/physical properties is a plus /li /ul pRequisition id: 52621 /p pRelocation: No /p h3EEO and Compliance /h3 pSealed Air is committed to attracting, selecting, and developing talent that reflects the diversity of the communities and customers we serve.
