Internship subject :
As part of a software team, the intern will participate in the development of our new generation of multi-format (HD/4K/8K), multi-standard (H264/HEVC/VVC) video processing products (encoder/transcoder/decoder/recording/etc.).
As part of a Scrum-based project team comprising engineers with a range of skills (HW, VHDL, SW, validation), you will contribute to the development of our new ASIC, which incorporates our latest-generation CODECs. In particular, you will be asked to develop the drivers associated with these video CODECs on RISC-V architecture.
This will involve :
1. Developing and integrating the software components required for RISC-V
2. Validating the behaviour of your developments in continuous integration
3. Writing the associated documentation
Required skills :
* A good knowledge of real-time embedded computing, C++ and Git is required.
* A basic understanding of video encoding/decoding and streaming (H264, H265, TS, RTSP), as well as Python, is a plus.
* A good command of English (written and spoken) is essential.
Location and duration : VITEC Group headquarters in Châtillon (92320), accessible via Line 13 or the T6, for a minimum of 6 months.
Financial conditions : Monthly allowance of €1,500 gross.
