\nDescription\nResponsible for coordinating all technical activities on assigned projects. Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates engineering work for the assigned project; ensures compliance with current regulations, practices, and accepted engineering standards; ensures effective communication and coordination among all disciplines and other project participants.\n
Carries out design activities, development of heat exchangers and/or accessories based on contract requirements and product specifications. Performs feasibility studies with technical proposals, analysis, design, prototyping. Contributes to the improvement of team and company processes.

Main Activities\nPlanning and forecasting engineering project activities
\n
Coordination and verification of engineering deliverables
\n
Continuous reporting on project status and order changes
\n
Evaluation of contract requirements (as relevant)
\n
Evaluation of product specifications
\nTransforming requirements into project outputs (calculations, dimensions, tolerances, material selection)\n
Interpretation and commentary of construction drawings
\n
Sizing of plant components and the overall system
\n
Drafting final and executive project documentation
\n
Execution of study drawings and construction details
\n
Drafting material purchase specifications, calculations, and IOM manuals
\n
Managing deadlines for project document submissions
\n
Approval of RDA
\nTechnical meetings with clients and suppliers of critical materials\n
Preparation of documentation for ASME/PED
\n
Required Skills\nDegree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
\n
At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design of heat exchangers
\n
Basic knowledge of project management techniques
\n
Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software (preferably Autocad, Inventor)
