We close on acquisitions, restructure entities, and consolidate financials across jurisdictions—all at a pace that would break most finance teams. This role is for an accountant who wants to work at the core of a fast‑moving, multi‑entity business—closing the books across jurisdictions, ensuring reconciliations are robust and defensible, and contributing to a finance function that can support a rapidly growing business.
Responsibilities
* Technical accounting at real depth. Prepare and own financial statements under US GAAP, with IFRS alignment where required. Exercise judgment on revenue recognition, consolidation, and intercompany flows—in a context where the reporting framework evolves constantly as we acquire and integrate new businesses.
* Integration and accounting consistency. Support the integration of newly acquired businesses into our financial infrastructure, aligning accounting treatments, reporting structures, and closing processes across the group. Ensure consistency without losing sight of local complexity and practical constraints.
* Controls, compliance, and audits. Design and reinforce internal controls that protect the quality of our financial records. Support internal and external audits with well‑prepared documentation, clear explanations, and the discipline that makes audits smoother because the work is already sound.
* Process improvement and automation. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows—reconciliations, accruals, intercompany flows—and partner with the broader finance team to automate them. Build processes that scale with the business and let the team focus on work that actually requires judgment.

For a candidate assessed as possessing considerable relevant experience, the salary on offer tends to be between £112,189 and £250,512 in London, and €107,837 and €188,848 elsewhere in Europe. Compensation varies by location and expected impact, and grows rapidly as you gain experience and translate it into greater contributions. For individuals who demonstrate exceptional capability, we may offer compensation that extends beyond the usual ranges to reflect their higher expected impact. If you're offered a permanent contract, you'll also be able to receive some of your pay in company equity at a discounted price, thus participating in the value creation we achieve together.
