Mapei is looking for a Corporate Finance Process Controller to join our Finance & Controlling team and support the continuous improvement, harmonization, and governance of our financial processes across the Group.
A Corporate Finance Process Controller is expected to design, monitor, and improve financial processes across the organization. This includes ensuring that all finance workflows are standardized, compliant, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Mapping and documenting finance processes
- Ensuring process compliance across countries/business units
- Identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements
- Ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems
- Monitoring adherence to corporate finance policies
- Collaborate with IT on system enhancements, testing, and alignment of finance processes with ERP functionalities
- Performing process checks and variance investigations
- Provide guidance and training to local finance teams on corporate standards and process updates.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, controlling, or financial process analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial processes (closing, reporting, budgeting, forecasting).
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally in an international environment.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector is a strong plus.
- Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Mandatory availability to travel internationally.
