PWe are looking for a strongDirettore di Macchina/Chief Engineer /strong. /ppstrongClient Details /strong /ppMultinational company operating in the Oil Gas industry. /ppstrongDescription /strong /ppstrongResponsibilities: /strong /pulliManage technically a fleet of vessels, ensuring safety and efficiency on board. /liliSupport vessels by developing and maintaining procedures and instructions. /liliConduct regular visits and internal technical audits. /liliPerform preventative and corrective maintenance cost-effectively. /liliOversee repairs and dry dockings per maintenance plans. /liliPrepare and monitor the technical budget. /liliCoordinate with purchasing to source goods and services at the lowest cost and high quality standards. /liliHandle damage claims and liaise with insurance companies for settlements. /liliEnsure compliance with port state control and vetting inspections. /liliMaintain vessel documentation and databases accurately. /li /ulpYou will work with a Crewing Officer and a Purchaser, reporting to the Regional Technical Manager. /ppstrongCandidate Profile /strong /pulliHigher Nautical or Technical Education diploma. /liliAt least 2-3 years of relevant experience as Chief Engineer/First Engineer or in ship repair/management. /liliStrong planning and problem-solving skills. /liliWilling to travel frequently and work under pressure. /liliKnowledge of the Italian flag and administration system is advantageous. /liliExcellent communication skills in English and Italian, both verbal and written. /li /ulpstrongLocation: /strong Genoa, Italy /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
