We have an opportunity within the compliance function of Hitachi Europe Limited for an Ethics & Compliance Regional Manager .
This role can be performed from any of Hitachi Europe's offices across Europe, including England, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and will work with colleagues globally, following a One Team approach .
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
* Supporting the implementation of policies and procedures
* Promoting a ‘speak up’ culture and adherence to the Code of Business Ethics and Conduct
* Role modeling Hitachi values consistently
* Providing training as appropriate
* Analyzing and reporting on training status
* Leading or supporting compliance initiatives at the Group level
* Supporting the compliance director with daily workload and large-scale projects
* Guiding entities on risks related to Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Conflicts of Interest, and Anti-Money Laundering
* Collaborating with legal and HR on concerns management processes
* Providing assurance on the health of the compliance program, identifying gaps through data analysis, and supporting entities to address them
* Working with the compliance team to develop a self-verification program
* Championing continuous improvement and simplification of internal processes

* Experience in concerns management and policy implementation
* Understanding of risk management principles
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Fluency in Arabic, Russian, or Chinese (region-dependent requirement)
Highly Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of audit, business integrity, and investigations
* Understanding of internal investigations and employee concerns programs
