Within the Avionics Test Solutions organizational unit of the Electronics Division, we are looking for a Test System Engineer for test solutions at our L'Aquila office.

The person will be involved in the Design, Development, and Qualification of automatic testing systems dedicated to avionics equipment of digital, analog, video, and RF nature, mainly carrying out the following activities:

- Analysis of functional requirements of avionics equipment
- Definition and specification of test requirements
- Implementation of test requirements on automatic Test Equipment
- HW/SW system integration on target stations (ATE/STTE/RIG)
- Product Life Cycle Management
- Preparation of Project Documentation
- Participation in review activities and all foreseen phases of the product life cycle.
- Experience as Product Engineering Manager is a plus
- Experience in system modeling (MBSE) is a plus

Educational Qualifications:

- Master's degree in a technical field, preferably Electronic Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science.

Seniority

- Junior : 1-3 years of experience or
- Expert : 3-5 years of experience.

Technical knowledge and skills

- Knowledge of the Product/Project Life Cycle
- Knowledge of System Engineering Processes
- Knowledge of Windows OS
- Basic technical preparation on classic electrical measurements and related basic instrumentation (DMM, Frequency Counter, RMS Voltmeters, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Arbitrary Generators, DC, AC and Three-phase Power Supplies, Active Loads, etc.) and on Real-Time test systems.
- Knowledge of IVI, NI HSDIO, NI DAQmx, Windows APIs technologies and Serial, GPIB, USB, VXI, PXI, PCI, TCP/IP instrument interfaces and related SW Driver development skills is a plus
- Software development skills, C, Java, Visio language
- Experience with National Instruments applications such as TestStand, Lab/Windows CVI, LabVIEW is a plus
- University or work experience as Technical Leader or in Engineering Management is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Model Based Engineering and MagicGrid framework
- Basic knowledge of SysML Modeling
