Manager / Team Leader
What you will do
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced leader to manage a team of engineers across Italy, with the following responsibilities:
How you will do it
* Provide direction to the engineering team for all engineering tasks, including planning, design, estimation, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure resources are properly allocated to projects and that productivity targets and absorption are met.
* Maintain engineering integrity of all projects, ensuring quality, technical, administrative, and financial requirements are met.
* Deliver high-quality technical solutions and engineering deliverables aligned with project schedules to achieve revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate across functions (project delivery, sales, backend engineering teams, procurement, and product management) to ensure on-time delivery and cost reduction.
* Monitor, assess, record, and report status, issues, risks, and activities to meet scheduled deployment and project objectives.
* Work with Global Complex Engineering Leaders to drive strategic initiatives for the Pacific region to improve overall engineering efficiency.
* Coordinate with Project/Branch Managers, Sales teams, customers, consultants, and architects on engineering delivery plans and priorities.
* Support deployment of Global Engineering and Operations Management tools for the region.
* Manage resource planning, hiring, and competency development to support business growth.
What we look for
* Engineering Degree or similar qualification
* 10+ years experience in engineering (Controls, CCTV, Access Controls, etc.)
* Ability to manage multiple challenges, prioritize responsibilities, and lead in a matrix organization
* Leadership and People Management skills
* Fluent in English
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to travel locally
