Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Professional to join our team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales of Engineering Plastics in a dynamic and competitive environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Focusing on Engineering Plastics: Take ownership of selling high-performance engineering plastics across multiple applications, with a strong emphasis on the automotive and E&E industries.
* Account Management: Manage and grow a portfolio of large and complex key accounts, including car manufacturers, by identifying new opportunities, maintaining strong relationships, and delivering exceptional service.
* Market Development: Identify and secure growth opportunities by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities in collaboration with marketing colleagues.
* Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customers to provide tailored solutions, including offering technical support and aligning new project requirements with capabilities.
* Team Collaboration: Partner with Technical Development and Marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering plastics into customer applications, supporting their development from concept to production.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related scientific field.
* Several years of proven sales experience within the chemical or engineering plastics business, ideally with exposure to the Italian market.
* Knowledge of the chemistry and processing of engineering plastics is highly advantageous.
* Strong negotiation, decision-making, and communication skills, coupled with a winning mentality and growth-oriented mindset.
* A self-motivated and conscientious individual with a customer-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a competitive environment.
