Job Function: Sales The role: In this role your focus will be selling the SoftwareOne Solutions & Services - Data & AI, and is expected to take a consistently proactive approach to growing, landing & expanding the aligned customer journey with current & new logo accounts. Also, serves as the liaison between the assigned Account Manager (AM) and technical pre-sales team and customers for new Solution & Services opportunities, supporting effective & efficient handover into delivery & customer success resources. The Pre-Sales Consultant is expected to possess a high level of technical expertise in their specific domain and act as a trusted authority; at SoftwareOne, people are our greatest asset, and we are passionate about investing in their growth, development, and success, fostering an environment where every talent can reach their full potential. Core Accountabilities: - Collaborate with customers, partners, and team members to understand business objectives and translate them into data and AI solution designs. - Architect and design end-to-end data pipelines, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and visualization components. - Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to drive insights and decision-making. - Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to ensure Data and AI solutions are reliable, scalable, and high-performing. - Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks to support Data and AI initiatives. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship on Data Architecture and AI standard methodologies. - Work closely with multi-functional teams, such as software developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful delivery of data and AI projects. What we need to see from you: A Data & AI,Technical Presales Consultant interacts with potencial customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations and follow up discussions. Specific Requirements: Solid proven experience as Pre-Sales Consultant. Proficiency in Data and AI Portfolio, including experience with Data Warehouses and Datalakes. Established relationships with Microsoft, AWS, and Google. Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, as well as data integration, automation, and monitoring. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions. Desirable Qualifications: Certifications in Cloud, Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI. Familiarity with containers and basic infrastructure knowledge. Proficiency in consuming services and working with cloud cost calculators. Soft skills: Problem-solving ability. High collaboration/partnership. Continuous learning orientation. Ability to prioritize, organize, and give structure. Strong verbal and written communication. Fluent English.
