Role Mission
We are looking for an Industrial Integration Engineer (OT) to ensure reliable integration between the CPPC Tiers control platform and field devices across utility-scale energy systems.
You will play a key role in connecting embedded control systems with real-world infrastructure such as inverters, BESS, meters, and protection devices, ensuring robust communication, correct I/O mapping, and smooth commissioning .
Your work will directly impact system reliability, commissioning success, and operational stability in mission-critical energy environments.

Employee Salary Range (Gross Annual Salary, RAL): € 75,000.00
Contractor Compensation Range (Annualized): € 90,000.00
Key Responsibilities
Develop embedded software for industrial controllers managing RES and BESS plants
Implement low-level drivers and hardware abstraction layers for real-time systems
Ensure deterministic execution, low latency, and high system stability
Optimize memory usage, CPU performance, and real-time task scheduling
Integrate embedded software with communication protocols ( Modbus, IEC 61850, OPC, etc.)
Collaborate with Control Engineers and Real-Time Software Engineers to deploy control algorithms on target hardware
Support debugging, testing, and validation activities (including HIL and on-target testing).
Contribute to system architecture decisions and embedded platform selection
Required Skills
Strong embedded programming skills in C/C++
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) or RT-Linux
Knowledge of microcontrollers, industrial PCs, and embedded hardware architectures
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, CAN, Ethernet-based protocols)
Understanding of real-time constraints, concurrency, and interrupt handling
Debugging skills using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and embedded toolchains
Ideal Background
MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Embedded Systems
5-10+ years of experience in embedded software development in industrial or energy environments
Experience with industrial control systems, power electronics, or energy systems is a strong plus
Exposure to grid-connected systems, inverters, or BESS controllers is preferred
