That's why we're fully committed to inclusion across race, gender, age, religion, identity, and experience to drive us forward every day. /ppWe are looking for a full-time position at our location in Rho Italy as : /pulliRegulatory Affairs Specialist (M / F / d) /li /ulpUnder the guidance of the Product Stewardship Leader and the regional business stakeholders, the Product Stewardship Expert is responsible for defining and executing product regulatory compliance across the various regions of commercial sales (in most cases regional NA, EU, AP). This role must ensure business compliance to all product regulatory and industry standards with regard to hazard communications, regional chemical inventories, and end-use product handling restrictions. /pulliResponsibilities /liliRepresent Global product stewardship with relevant business functions (including Quality, Technical Service Development, RD, Product Supply, and Commercial) to ensure the Product Stewardship concerns and requirements are addressed, with a particular focus on sustainable product development, market expansion, and RD objectives. /liliBe informed of upcoming chemical regulations, assess their business impact and inform internal stakeholders accordingly. /liliRespond to customer’s inquiries on our products, typically about absence of chemicals of concern, compliance with sector relevant regulations, and sustainability. /liliAssess and approve raw materials and finished products by working closely with internal stakeholders (procurement, RD, sales) and suppliers. /liliDefine the detailed product composition, and maintain composition information in the ERP system. /liliCollaborate with product stewards across product lines and geographical regions to improve best practices by end use (Automotive, Medical, Electronics, etc.). /liliEvaluate product additives and product compositions for their sustainable chemistry. /liliRepresent the function when management of change (MOC) assessments occur. /liliRepresent Trinseo as a member of the technical / science teams affiliated with various industry groups including Plastics Europe, PMMA Group and MMA Technical Committees. /li /ulpbQualifications : /b /pulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, Biology, or other relevant Sciences or Engineering degree is a minimum requirement. /liliUnderstanding of EU chemical regulations (REACH, CLP) is essential. /liliExcellent Communication Skills : must be able to take complex regulatory information and translate this information into the essential business requirements and communicate them to the business in a clear and concise manner. /liliExperience in food contact regulations is a plus /liliExperience in working on global teams and knowledge of non-EU chemical regulations is a plus /liliExperience in human or environmental toxicology is a plus. /liliApplicant must have strong communication skills with English and Italian being the primary business languages. /liliApplicant must be experienced with the use of the Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel and Outlook). /liliPast experience with SAP database use and knowledge of the ESPS module for Product Stewardship would be highly beneficial. /liliOUR OFFER /li /ulpWe are driven by our mission and core values to represent a remarkable company to work for.
