**Team Overview and Job Responsibilities**
Travel to the Group’s international sites will be an integral part of this job role and will take up around 50% of your time.
This role is based in Milan.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform financial, operational, compliance and fraud audits in accordance with professional IIA standards and Prysmian Internal Audit methodology, and report findings and recommendations to management, under the supervision of the Internal Audit Manager and Internal Audit Senior Manager;
- Develop a thorough understanding of business processes in scope for assigned audits. Identify and document inherent risks and controls within the business processes;
- Prepare and execute work programs that will evaluate the design, effectiveness and efficiency of the control environment over the key processes under review;
- Participate in developing internal audit deliverables and ensure that work is completed within agreed deadlines;
- Evaluate areas for potential improvement in processes and controls while ensuring that our recommendations add value to the business;
- Supporting in ensuring the closure of remediation plans;
- Maintain a high level of technical auditing and internal control excellence and contribute directly in raising the profile of the Internal Audit team.
**Who are we looking for?**
**Requirements**:
- Master’s Degree in Economics, Financial Accounting or similar fields
- Minimum 2 year of experience in internal/external audit with exposure to Manufacturing businesses (Big 4 experience is a plus);
- Good knowledge of Risk & Control frameworks (basic knowledge of Law 262 and Legislative Decree 231 is preferred) and Accounting principles;
- Excellent financial and analytical skills;
- Fluent English is a must;
- International exposure - both studying or working experience - is preferred;
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be able to build effective client and team relationships;
- Highly motivated and able to work pro-actively in a dynamic environment, flexibility and resilience to adapt to unexpected changes;
- MS Excel and PowerPoint are a must, SAP knowledge is a plus.
