The next program will start in October 2026 and will contain 3 international rotations across Amcor plants & offices in Europe. The contract location will depend on the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
* Support the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of R&D systems, tools, and operational processes across Europe
* Contribute to cross‐functional European projects with other functions (Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, IT, Sustainability, Operations, Product Management)
* Interface between business stakeholders and system/process owners to translate operational needs into structured, practical solutions
* Align data and analytics initiatives with business priorities to enable fact‐based decision‐making
* Support change management activities by preparing and delivering documentation, training materials, and communication for new or improved systems and processes
* Rotate across projects and focus areas within R&D Operations to explore interests, develop strengths, and shape future career direction
Education & Experience
* Master's/Honours degree in Industrial Engineering, General Engineering, Data Engineering or Chemical Engineering
* Evidence of academic achievements and/or extracurricular activities
* Up to 2 years of relevant internship or work experience in an industrial, engineering, R&D, or operations environment
* First international study or work experience as an asset
* Exposure to cross‐functional projects, data analysis, or process improvement activities is an advantage
Technical & Analytical Skills
* Strong analytical and structured problem‐solving mindset, with the ability to understand end‐to‐end processes
* Interest in IT systems and data, with basic knowledge of SQL, programming concepts, databases, and/or data modelling
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and/or CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
* Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is nice to have
