#JoinJWVeniceWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOROur marvelous resort, JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa is seeking a passionate, bright and talented Senior Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team!CORE WORK ACTIVITIESEnsure team members maintain a clean, professional appearance and comply with company grooming and uniform standards.Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool facilities, and back-of-house areas after cleaning to ensure the highest quality standards are consistently achieved.Identify, report, and follow up on maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or service deficiencies that may impact the guest experience.Review sold room reports, verify room status, manage discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning activities, and ensure timely updates of departing guest room status.Support Housekeeping Management in supervising daily operations, coordinating workflows, and ensuring smooth and efficient department performance.Assist in training, scheduling, coaching, motivating, evaluating, and developing Housekeeping associates while promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.Prepare, distribute, and communicate room assignments and operational updates, ensuring effective shift handovers and continuity of service.Complete and verify operational paperwork and reports accurately and in compliance with company procedures.Act as a key liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments to ensure effective communication and seamless operations.Develop and maintain positive working relationships across departments, addressing operational concerns professionally and proactively.Document and resolve room discrepancies in collaboration with the Front Office team.Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate guest needs, and deliver an exceptional and personalized guest experience.Support the team in handling special requests, VIP arrivals, and operational challenges, ensuring service excellence at all times.Marriott International is an equal-opportunity employer.
