We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager - Italy to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. This role aims to bridge our central operations team with our local Italian team. The ideal candidate is an operational expert with experience in service-oriented industries (e.g., delivery, shared mobility) who excels in managing processes and reporting. This is a field-oriented role requiring adaptability and a hands-on approach to ensure smooth operations.
What will be your responsibilities
* Manage operational teams and processes to ensure smooth daily operations;
* Provide detailed reports and act as the liaison between local and central teams;
* Handle operational tasks requiring hands-on involvement and attention to detail;
* Regularly visit the field to report and resolve on-the-ground challenges;
* Coordinate and support local teams to ensure consistent service delivery;
* Identify and implement improvements to operational processes in the field;
* Ensure operational metrics and goals are met, with regular progress reports.
What are the requirements to join us in this position
* 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in service-focused industries like delivery, mobility, or logistics;
* Strong understanding of post-sales service operations and workflow optimization;
* Excellent communication skills to report clearly and liaise effectively between local and global teams;
* Proficiency in English and Italian;
* Proven ability to manage teams and processes with hands-on involvement when needed;
* Adaptable and proactive, willing to engage in fieldwork;
* Analytical mindset with experience in tracking and improving operational KPIs;
* Knowledge of smart locker systems or logistics technology;
* Understanding of local logistics and post-sales service processes;
* Experience in scaling operational processes in a growing company.
