Overview
Field Service Engineer (FSE) responsible for installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of Sungrow solar inverter and storage solutions in Italy (possible locations: Verona, Milan, Bologna or nearby areas).
Responsibilities
Take ownership of dispatched customer issues.
Support RFM resources dispatched onsite during commissioning and on-site services.
Assist RFM/Project Management during commissioning and site acceptance services.
Deliver support and contribute service solutions for customers.
Perform on-site installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance, test, upgrades, and rework tasks.
Follow operational procedures, processes, and practices as defined, documented, and consistently applied.
Follow applicable health and safety instructions and regulations.
Maintain up-to-date documentation, work instructions and processes for existing and upcoming service contracts and agreements.
Provide analytical service reports and suggestions for corrective activities to Europe Service Management.
Participate in claim management and RMA processes.
Ensure service tools are calibrated appropriately.
Conduct on-call duties (partly weekends and nights).
Qualifications
Education as Electrical Technician or Engineer; familiarity with ACDC, low/medium voltage and electrical conduits.
Italian & English language skills at least B2.
Experience with battery storage solutions is beneficial.
Experience dealing with customers in critical situations.
Valid driving licence.
Health & Safety training for construction site access with electrical specific training.
Willingness to work on call duty and travel (approximately 60%).
