Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of projects with varying complexity and ensure that all related activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety, environment requirements, cost/profitability targets, and scheduling targets. The work model for this role is: #LI-Hybrid. This position contributes to the Process Automation Business, Measurement & Analytics Division – Business Service.
You will be mainly accountable for:
* Defining, jointly with the Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans.
* Ensuring that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies.
* Effectively monitoring and controlling project progress and resource utilization, monitoring project financials, overseeing invoicing, costs, expenses, and cash flow.
* Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, and managing risks, and ensuring all opportunities are pursued.
* Capturing, analyzing, and sharing lessons learned throughout the project, and ensuring formal project closure as per contractual agreements.
* Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer.
* Ensuring consistent application of contract and claims management, in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements with Supply Chain Management, and successfully procuring required services, materials, and equipment from external and internal suppliers.
* Supporting Supply Chain Management in negotiations, claims, and project changes, acting as a key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively communicating with all parties.

Qualifications for the role
* At least 5 years of experience in project management and preparing project schedules.
* Enhanced knowledge of instrumentation related to the division is a plus.
* Passionate about teamwork, problem-solving, and managing deadlines.
* A Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering or economics.
* Fluent in Italian and English communication.
