In this role you lead the evolution and governance of FP&A planning and performance processes within the Motion Business Area. You will align with the Finance Transformation Program and Group FP&A, driving end-to-end FP&A improvements and strong adoption across stakeholders. You act as a senior change leader, translating business needs into actionable FP&A solutions while leveraging new technologies. The position offers a global scope with hybrid work, focusing on scalable, insight-driven FP&A that supports senior leadership decisions.

* Provide governance and oversight for the evolution of Motion FP&A processes with clear ownership
* Lead transition to new Management Reporting (MR) and Group Reporting (GR) processes across Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and KPIs
* Support transition and stabilization of planning processes in SAC with proper integration to FP&A cycles
* Clarify business requirements, challenge timelines and scope, and address gaps or misalignments
* Coordinate and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders
* Prioritize tradeoffs and manage risks, dependencies, and escalations affecting FP&A processes
* Act as back-up for planning activities to ensure resilience during cycles
* Serve as senior coordination point between Group FP&A, Group Controlling, Motion FP&A and cross-Business Area teams
* Manage dependencies and decision points across stakeholders and initiatives
* Contribute to FP&A Communities of Practice with tangible outcomes
* Be the main point of contact for FP&A topics in the finance transformation program
* Provide structure and continuity across transformation initiatives
* Partner with Motion FP&A teams and Division CFOs to enable a scalable FP&A organization
Responsabilità
* 15+ years of progressive finance experience with mastery in FP&A, finance transformation and enterprise systems (e.g., CFIN, SAC, Global BW, SAP/ERP)
* Strategic financial acumen translating P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow into actionable insights
* Digital & data excellence with Power BI, modern finance tech and data modeling
* Experience with ABB’s SAP/ERP landscape and related systems; openness to AI and new tech
* Proven ability to influence across senior and operational stakeholders in a matrix, international environment
* Change leadership and execution capability for enterprise transformations; pragmatic, outcome-oriented delivery
* Confident yet constructive governance style with stakeholder engagement and escalation skills
* Agile mindset and ability to operate across global/local contexts without formal authority
