We’re looking for a Junior Legal & Compliance Assistant who is detail-oriented, reliable, and curious to learn how legal and compliance work in a fast-paced, international tech company.
This is a support - and execution - focused role, suited to someone with a legal or business-related academic background, who brings structure, reliability, and a quiet, steady contribution to day-to-day legal operations.
The focus is on simple, recurring, and cross-functional tasks, and a hands-on mindset that wants to gain practical experience in an in-house legal team.
Growens operates in an asynchronous and remote-friendly environment, with teams based in Europe and the US.
Contracts & Corporate Documentation
Draft and edit standard contracts and NDAs (in Italian and English), based on existing templates
Manage the signature process and simple archiving (digital and physical) of legal and corporate documents
Help maintain and update basic templates and checklists
Track contract expirations and deadlines using internal tools
Privacy & Data Protection Support
Data Privacy Framework)
Review and maintain basic records and documentation
Provide operational support in recurring compliance tasks
Fill out insurance questionnaires (in Italian and English)
Monitor deadlines and premium payments
Support the maintenance and organization of the contract repository, including tracking key contract information (e.g., Help document basic legal processes and maintain internal logs and tracking systems
Collaborate with other departments on standard requests requiring legal/compliance support
Assist in preparing and sending pre-approved responses to authorities, under guidance from senior staff
Help with simple credit recovery follow-ups, including document checks and reminders
Three-year bachelor’s degree in Corporate Legal Affairs (Giurista d’Impresa), Legal Studies, Business Law, Economics, or similar fields
Excellent command of English (C1 level), both written and spoken
Ability to work in a structured and proactive way in a distributed, asynchronous environment, with one business unit based in Italy and another in the US
Interest in legal and compliance topics applied to a business setting
Familiarity with standard digital tools (Google Docs, Google Workspace, Word, Slack, Jira, Confluence)
Hands-on experience with operational legal and compliance processes in a listed international tech group
Experience working in a remote-friendly and async-first company, where autonomy, clarity, and documentation are key
Exposure to real-life business workflows in an agile and collaborative environment
Potential internship extension and evaluation for future roles
