Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and analytical candidate to join our Treasury team, with a focus on credit management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily bank statement reconciliation on behalf of Italian headquarters and some foreign subsidiaries;
* Origination of payments according to payments forecast (wires, F24);
* Support in monthly closing activities;
* Monitoring of financial conditions applied by banks and factoring;
* Support in audit activities;
* Active cash collection from customers located worldwide: resolve past due issues and credit issues, regularly review aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances;
* Liaising with Customer Service and Sales team to address customer issues affecting payments;
* Trade finance activities (letters of credit, cash against documents).
Requirements:
* Degree in Finance or Accounting;
* Some experience in treasury or accounting role;
* Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus);
* Strong user knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
* SAP knowledge;
* A working knowledge of accounts receivable-related accounting concepts;
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a particular emphasis on customer contact;
* Very good organization, ability to analyze data, coordination and problem solving skills, objective oriented;
* Ability to learn quickly and be independent.
