Senior Exterior Designer We are currently seeking a Lead Exterior Designer who will join Maserati Design. The Senior Designer is a crucial part of the style creation process and the brand’s style identity. He/she is responsible for managing their projects with various stakeholders such as Project, Professions, Suppliers, and Style. He/she is expected to produce sketches at the highest level of creativity. This includes the accompaniment of the digital and/or Physical volume setting to propose new style concepts within the framework of advance phase research. He/she is also proposes sketches that are relevant within the framework of the Brand Style identity during style competitions. The Senior Designer ensure the management of more than two projects in a completely autonomous way. In terms of activities, leads the development of the design while balancing the essence of style against technical requirements through multiple iterations. Qualifications
a BAC+5 in fine arts or a BAC+5 in industrial, product, or automotive design. at least 8 years of experience in Automotive Design. minimum level of English equivalent to B2.1, necessary for leading meetings and working groups in English. in‑depth knowledge of Blender, Alias, Illustrator, and Photoshop, with the ability to create advanced production and Design proposals. ability to define and express a thoughtful design vision and understand how it integrates into the project context with the appropriate team. ability to artistically represent 2‑D and 3‑D concepts using manual/digital sketches, ALIAS, Blender, Photoshop, and/or similar programs. at least 12 months of experience in the functional field, plus prior experience in the field of Product Design and prior experience in other automotive companies or competitors. successful experiences in more than two design projects and experience of the main program: more than one program or significant completion of a major project.
