We are looking for an engaging and proactive Senior Receptionist to join our team from March to September/October 2026.
As part of the Front Office team, you will coordinate daily reception and concierge operations, supervise staff, and support management in ensuring smooth operations in line with the standards of excellence of Relais & Châteaux and Borgo Pignano Tuscany.
Qualifications
Your responsibilities
• Supervise employees and assist with daily tasks to ensure efficient Front Office operations
• Ensure that Relais & Châteaux and Borgo Pignano Tuscany standards are consistently followed
• Focus on Front Desk activities, including check-in, check-out, and concierge services
• In the absence of the Front Office Manager, oversee operations, provide direction and feedback to the team, and train new staff members
• Handle and resolve conflicts among team members
• Assist guests effectively with inquiries, restaurant reservations, and experience bookings
• Offer constant support to colleagues and hotel management
• Monitor guest stays, ensure their needs are met, and respond promptly and courteously to complaints and feedback

What we are looking for
• 2-3 years of experience in the same role within 4*/5* environments
• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving mindset
• Assertive leadership and ability to motivate a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Emotional intelligence: sensitivity to guest and colleague needs, with the ability to manage personal emotions in challenging situations
• Passion for service, discretion, and courtesy
• Fluent in English (Italian knowledge is a plus)
• Excellent grooming standards in line with 5* hospitality requirements
• Respect for nature and sustainability values
• Own car
• Verifiable professional references
