The Product Owner Role This is a strategic, newly created role responsible for leading the development and integration of digital solutions within our client's Research and Development team. The focus is on advancing IoT functionalities and creating a unified digital experience for customers. The Product Owner will report to the Product Manager and collaborate with international teams across Europe. Key Activities Technical Leadership & Architecture Define and own the technical roadmap, infrastructure, and architecture for the customer portal. Ensure seamless integration with ERP, PIM, DAM, authentication systems (SSO/IAM), and external APIs. Establish data flows, API strategies, and cloud architectures that ensure high performance and security. Maintain scalability, security, and compliance with standards such as GDPR. IoT Integration & Data Management Ensure seamless integration of IoT-enabled products and services with the customer portal. Define data exchange standards, APIs, and connectivity between IoT devices, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems. Collaborate with IoT Product Managers and engineering teams for secure and efficient implementation. Manage device authentication, firmware updates, and remote monitoring capabilities within the portal. Development & Execution Oversee the technical development of portal features, ensuring alignment with business and IT requirements. Manage the technical backlog, prioritizing tasks based on feasibility, security, and impact. Work with developers, solution architects, and DevOps teams for efficient implementation. Implement best practices for API management, cloud services, and security. Act as a technical liaison between Product Managers, IT, and external vendors. Ensure high-quality, compliant solutions from vendors and partners. Provide technical assessments and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
