Established Search is excited to be exclusively partnered with an innovative organisation in the surgical ophthalmology space, aiming to improve vision and quality of life for those with untreatable retinal disorders.
The Patient Journey Manager will serve as a critical link between clinical partners, rehabilitation teams, and patients—ensuring seamless coordination across the entire treatment pathway. From initial patient selection through surgery and post-operative rehabilitation, you will guide all stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Build strong relationships with implanting centres and rehabilitation teams
* Provide hands-on training to clinical personnel, including visual rehab and low vision professionals
* Support and oversee the complete patient journey, including selection, surgery follow-up, and long-term rehab
* Collaborate with commercial and medical teams to activate new treatment centres
* Engage with patient groups, doctors, and referral networks to raise awareness and facilitate access to care
* Coordinate communication between surgical and rehab teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
* Identify and coordinate patient testimonials for awareness campaigns
* Act as a key contact for patient support challenges and incident reporting
Qualifications:
* Degree or qualification in Orthoptics, Optics, or a related low vision field
* 3–5 years' experience in medical devices and/or pharmaceuticals, preferably within ophthalmology
* 3–5 years' experience in low vision rehabilitation

* Effective project management skills, experienced across multidisciplinary teams
* Adaptable, proactive, and able to work under pressure
* Fluent in the local language and proficient in English
* Proficient with MS Office; tech-savvy mindset preferred
