* You hold a Master of Engineering or Computer Science degree or equivalent from university, with significant experience in architecture and engineering systems.
* You are a proactive leader eager to develop your team through collaborative and challenging approaches.
* You demonstrate responsibility and a strong sense of initiative.
* You are convincing and persuasive.
* You enjoy engaging with customers.
* You possess good communication and relationship skills.
Competencies:
* You understand operational concepts thoroughly.
* You have deep knowledge of the field and its technical strategy.
* You are familiar with operational analysis.
* You can work in co-engineering environments, applying Lean Thinking, Obeya, etc.
* You can contextualize and adapt perspectives considering political, economic, social, technical, environmental, and legal factors.
* You are familiar with Concept, Design, Experimentation, and Simulation tools, including MBSE modeling tools.
* You have experience with Integration, Verification, Validation, Qualification, and Agile methods.
Nice to Have:
Specific domain/product/project knowledge (to be filled by hiring managers).
Life as a System Architecture Role
As a System Architect at Thales, you will:
* Define and recommend architectures aligned with stakeholder expectations, standards, reuse policies, technology roadmaps, and business strategies.
* Establish solution architectures, balancing stakeholder needs, technical options, costs, risks, and schedules, documenting artifacts like architecture justifications, product breakdowns, and design documents.
* Assist in solution development and co-engineering approaches.
* Manage project requirements, performance evaluations, interface definitions, and stakeholder negotiations throughout the project lifecycle.
