As part of the Milan Building Services Engineering team, you will work closely with mechanical, electrical, structural, and sustainability specialists to develop integrated engineering solutions from early-stage concept design through to detailed design, construction support, and project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the mechanical engineering design and technical delivery of mission-critical and multidisciplinary building projects
Manage projects through all stages including feasibility studies, concept design, detailed design, tender support, and construction phase services
Act as the lead mechanical engineering contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders
Develop and oversee the design of complex mechanical building systems including:
HVAC systems
Chilled water and cooling systems
Ventilation and smoke control systems
Heating systems
Hydronic and pipework systems
Sustainable and energy-efficient building solutions
Mechanical infrastructure for mission-critical environments
Coordinate closely with electrical, structural, architectural, and BIM teams to ensure integrated project delivery
Lead technical reviews, design coordination meetings, and engineering workshops
Support the delivery of low-carbon and sustainable engineering strategies across projects
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and intermediate engineers
Contribute to resource planning, project scheduling, and quality assurance processes
Ensure designs comply with local and international standards, client specifications, and industry best practice xrdztoy
Assist in identifying innovative technologies and engineering approaches to improve project performance and efficiency
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and technical leadership
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Building Services, or Energy Engineering
Chartered engineer or working towards chartership
Extensive experience in mechanical building services engineering
Proven experience working on Data Centre, Mission Critical, or Industrial Building projects
Strong technical understanding of HVAC and mechanical building systems design
Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects
Ability to manage projects from conceptual design through to construction and commissioning stages
Experience working in BIM/Revit environments; knowledge of parametric design tools would be advantageous
Strong understanding of sustainable building design principles and energy-efficient systems
Fluent written and spoken Italian and English
